Grapes and Gourmet in Jamestown, combines a well-stocked wine, beer and liquor selection with a full-service gourmet deli and food shop. The new store features over 500 wines, an assortment of micro-brews, imported and domestic beer, spirits, and array of cheeses, breads, dipping sauces, olive oils and other epicurean specialties. Owner and Rhode Island native Frank LaPere has created a welcoming atmosphere that caters to customers who enjoy quality wines, cold beer, cooking and entertaining.

On the gourmet food and deli side of the business LaPere’s sister, Paula LaBarre, has assembled foods that complement the store’s wine selection. The deli counter is stocked with items such as smoked salmon, prosciutto, mini pizzas, bulk olives, fresh fruit, cold salads and specialty cheeses.

Grapes and Gourmet is located at Conanicut Marina on the corner of 9 Ferry Wharf in Jamestown. Delivery is available in Jamestown, Newport and surrounding areas as far south as Westerly.
