100 percent Cinsault from a 2.5 acre vineyard in France’s Languedoc region. Hand harvested and aged in stainless steel for one year. This wine has NO added sulfites, is unfined and unfiltered in an effort to preserve its true character. Wine is soft with low tannins and low alcohol, exuding a freshness and liveliness that is uncommon in the Languedoc, a region where many producers are looking at maximum yields.
A village-level wine made from Gamay, the star grape in France’s famed Beaujolais region. Hand-harvested, the grapes then go through semi-carbonic maceration and are aged in concrete until the following year’s harvest.
